Services & Booking Conditions (Tenerife)

You reserve your rental car including these services:

• No airport taxes or airport surcharges
• Phone hotline offered by the car rental (English/Spanish)

Fair refueling regulations:

• You simply return the rental car as you picked it up
• No hidden fuel charges or fuel rip-offs

Insurances included in the rental price:

• Full comprehensive insurance with excess fee (free upgrade, Special offer!)
• Liability insurance (personal injury 70 million euros, property damage 15 million euros)

Other insurances on site:

• The car rental company will not impose any additional insurance on you on site!

All prices are in Euro and per day. Prices are valid from 23.07.2024.

Where can you use the rental car?

When booking via GOMERARENTACAR.COM, the car rental company allows use on the islands of Tenerife and La Gomera, as well as on the ferries between the two islands.

Minimum rental period & return:

Minimum rental period is 7 days. Your rental car can only be returned in Tenerife. A return on La Gomera is not possible for organisational reasons.

Late Arrival & Christmas/New Year:

For arrivals after 8:00pm or before 9:00am, the car rental company may charge a service fee of 20€. For arrivals on Christmas Day (December 25th) or New Year's Day (January 1st), the car rental company may charge a service fee of 30€.

Booking & Cancellation:

No deposit is required for the reservation. Cancellation free of charge is possible at any time. In case of a cancellation, in order to spare the car rental company any unnecessary expense, please cancel, if possible, up to 12 hours before the pick-up of the rental car.

Calculation total rent:

The total rental price is calculated on the basis of the rental period and the daily price. The rental price per day is the specified standard price, unless a special price is specified for your rental period. A special price is only valid for the specified period. In this case, 1 day = 24 hours, calculated from the time of the pick up. Example: For a reservation for 22 or 24 hours, 1 day would be charged, for 30 hours 2 days would be charged.

• Full comprehensive insurance with excess fee (600€, from Category D and higher: 1000€)
• Liability insurance (personal injury 70 million euros, property damage 15 million euros)

Full comprehensive insurance premium without excess fee (optional):

• Full comprehensive insurance premium without excess fee (10€/day, from Category D and higher: 15€/day)

Other insurances on site:

• The car rental company will not impose any other insurances on you on site!

Where can you use the rental car?

For bookings via GOMERARENTACAR.COM, the car rental company allows you to use your rental car on paved roads on the island of La Gomera. Use on other islands or on ferries is expressly not permitted and would result in the loss of insurance cover.

Minimum rental period, one-way rental & return:

The minimum rental period is 3 days. A return of the rental car in a different place than the pick-up (one-way rental) is free of charge. You can only return your rental car on La Gomera. A return on Tenerife is not possible for organisational reasons.

Late Arrival & Christmas/New Year:

For arrivals after 9.00pm or before 9.00am, the car rental company may charge a service fee of 15€. A pick-up of the rental car on Christmas Day (25.12.) or New Year's Day (01.01.) is not possible for organisational reasons.

Sundays:

Due to organisational reasons, unfortunately it is not possible to pick up or return the rental car on Sundays in Valle Gran Rey and Playa Santiago.

Booking & Cancellation:

No deposit is required for the booking. A cancellation free of charge is possible at any time via e-mail. In case of a cancellation, in order to spare the car rental company any unnecessary expense, please cancel, if possible, up to 8 hours before the pick-up of the rental car.

The total rental price is calculated on the basis of the rental period and the daily price. That means: 1 day = 24 hours, calculated from the time of pick-up. Example: if you make a reservation for 68 or 72 hours, you will be charged for 3 days, for 78 hours 4 days will be charged.
